HEULIEZ BUS wins a record order for electric buses from Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM), the Parisian transport authority, and transport operator, RATP

Île-de-France Mobilités, the Parisian transport authority, together with transport operator, RATP* renew its trust in HEULIEZ BUS by electing the 12m full electric GX 337 to realize its ambitious energy transition Bus2025 plan which aim is to replace its Ile-de-France fleet of diesel buses with full electric vehicles. This choice confirms once again the strong leadership of the brand for electric technology and energetic transition.

A new milestone between RATP, Île-de-France Mobilités and HEULIEZ BUS has been reached. Indeed, on May 17th, a contract has been signed for an order of electric buses to be delivered in the period 2020 – 2022 for a maximum amount of 133M €. The inclusion of HEULIEZ BUS in the largest European tender for electric buses to be launched thus far by RATP and financed by IDFM, reinforces the brand’s position at the forefront in this specialized field.

This order, which is the most important received in 2019 for the French market, is added to the 36 GX 337 ELEC being delivered to the RATP.
HEULIEZ BUS demonstrates its anticipation of key current issues for many European cities and its ability to provide the perfect solution in terms of environmental impact.

GX ELECs are equipped with an electric synchronous engine motor and Lithium-ion NMC batteries. Their exclusive system for the management of energy and the supervision ensure a maximum autonomy. Thermic comfort beneficiates of numerous innovative developments, ensuring excellent performances. They can be recharge overnight at the depot in just a few hours: equipped with a Combo 2 socket located at the rear of the vehicles, the recharge is optimized thanks to a dedicated patented management system.

Distributed between the rear and the roof, the energy storage does not reduce the passenger space of the GX 337 ELEC which can comfortably accommodate a hundred passengers, of which 30 seated.

The latest 100% electric technology from HEULIEZ BUS perfectly meets the expectations of RATP and IDFM as the GX ELECs offer numerous environmentally friendly features, such as the absence of local pollutant emissions and the reduction of noise and vibration

With this new contract, HEULIEZ BUS reinforces its leadership in the development of zero emission buses and positions itself as a major partner in energetic transition for public transport authorities.
